Gaming Localization Project Manager

What You’ll Do

• Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end localization for gaming content (RPGs, shooters, strategy games, etc.), ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• Client Collaboration: Work closely with game studios and publishers to align on vision, target audiences and localization needs.
• Team Coordination: Manage linguists, voice talents and testers to maintain consistency and cultural accuracy.
• Workflow Optimization: Tailor processes for the fast-paced gaming industry (Day-1 patches, live-service updates).
• Quality Assurance: Implement linguistic/functional testing to meet immersion and playability standards.
• Budget & Timeline Management: Monitor resources to ensure efficient, cost-effective localization.

What You Bring

• Experience: 3+ years in localization project management, preferably in gaming.
• Gaming Knowledge: Deep understanding of gaming culture, genres and localization challenges (UI, voice-over, cultural adaptation).
• Language Skills: Fluent English (C2); additional languages are a plus.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines and last-minute changes.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for international teams/clients.
• Technical Savvy: Familiarity with CAT tools, TMS, Unity/Unreal Engine.
• Passion: A true gamer who understands what makes games immersive.
