Gaming QA & Localization Specialist

Your Mission: Ensure localized gaming content is linguistically accurate, functionally flawless and culturally resonant.
What You’ll Do
- Linguistic Testing: Review in-game text, UI and dialogue for accuracy, natural flow and cultural fit.
- Functional Testing: Verify localized content integrates correctly (e.g., no text overflow, proper alignment).
- Contextual Testing: Playtest localized versions to ensure translations match the tone, style and context of the original.
- Bug Reporting: Document linguistic/functional/cultural issues using bug-tracking tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, translators and developers to resolve issues and improve quality.
- Cultural Adaptation: Adjust jokes, references and nuances for target audiences.
What You Bring
- Language Skills: Native proficiency in either German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Italian, or Portuguese + excellent English.
- Gaming Experience: Passionate gamer with a strong grasp of gaming terminology and mechanics.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors, inconsistencies and functional issues.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with bug-tracking tools and basic gaming platform knowledge.
- Analytical Mindset: Critical thinking to solve language/functional challenges.
- Flexibility: Adaptability to tight deadlines and changing requirements.
